**No One is Denied Home Care Services Because Of Inability to Pay**

Services under Home Care are typically paid for by:

  • Medicare
  • Medical Assistance (i.e. BadgerCare)
  • Private Insurance or HMO
  • Income-based sliding scale

  • Ostomy and catheter instruction & care
  • IV Medication care & instruction
  • Medication set-up
  • Injections
  • Diabetes diet & insulin instructions
  • Tube Feedings
  • Skilled nursing care & assessment
  • Instructions & support for our patients, family & caregivers
  • Direction to other appropriate Services
  • Speech therapy
  • Physical Therapy
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Skilled Evaluation & Observation

A Registered Nurse is on-call for emergencies 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Home Health Aides are available for assistance with managing your home. Some services provided by the Aides include

  • Baths
  • Shampoo
  • Dressing
  • Toileting
  • Walking

Sometimes Medical Assistance, Medicare and Private Insurance will pay for Personal Care Services. Otherwise, a sliding fee scale based on your income may be used to determine the price of Personal Care Services.  In addition, help from the Commission on Aging is available for eligible patients.  People eligible for COP/CIP through the Department of Human Services may also be eligible for Personal Care Services free of charge.
